Fourteen six feet wooden posts with the Ghanaian ‘Sankofa’ Adinkra symbol branded at the top, each linked with metal collars, hooks and chains, some with pieces of leather carrying the name of a West African Tribe representing those key tribes where people taken from. The piece also includes a cotton cargo sack on the floor at its centre and a soundscape to play in the space where permissible.
